Moving to Thailand

For years, I illustrated children’s books in a crowded city studio, constantly under deadlines and deadlines. I loved my work, but creativity can’t thrive under constant stress. I wanted a place where I could draw inspiration from daily life, nature, and new cultures.

Thailand seemed perfect. Using https://thailand-real.estate/, I discovered a charming villa in Chiang Mai with an open studio space and a garden full of flowering trees. The buying process was clear and supportive, making it easy to transition smoothly.

Now, I spend my mornings sketching in natural light, afternoons wandering local markets for inspiration, and evenings reading to children in community centers. The environment has brought freshness and imagination back into my work like nothing else could.

Living here has reminded me why I became an illustrator in the first place: to tell stories inspired by life, nature, and the world around me.
