Have you built a US hempcrete home in the past year? The US Hemp Building Association is seeking submissions for the Best New Hemp Building 2023-24 Contest.
2023's winner: The Hondo TX Hemp House built by Texas Healthy Homes
Projects don’t need to be finished, but must have been worked on in 2023 or 2024. All structures will be considered including those that utilized hemp in the building materials from full wall systems to hemp batt insulation to HempWood flooring.

The winner will be selected in an online vote for Best New Hemp Building 2023-24 Contest at the virtual member meeting on June 15.
Five hemp homes built in 2022-2023 were submitted for last year’s contest, and all were inspiring and exciting!

Members voted to award first prize to the Hondo, TX house built by Tim White at Texas Healthy Homes as the winner. The 2,375 sqft, 2 bedroom, 2 bath home includes hempcrete for all exterior and interior walls.
